SBISD reaches all time high Relative Performance – 92nd percentile

Using STAAR and College, Career, Military Readiness (CCMR) data, District Relative Performance Percentile compares districts with similar percentages of economically disadvantaged students.  In 2024, Spring Branch ISD posted its highest CCMR raw score to date, 73, an increase of 9 points over the previous year, exceeding pre-pandemic levels.

CCMR is tightly aligned to SBISD’s T-2-4 vision for every SBISD graduate to attain a technical certificate or military training, or a 2-year or 4-year degree. These data affirm that since 2019, SBISD has shown the greatest relative gains toward Every Child being T-2-4 ready. As an additional point of pride, the Class of 2024 earned over $53 million in college scholarships, the highest in SBISD history!

In STAAR performance, Spring Branch ISD students repeated their highest STAAR raw score level for the second straight year.  These combined for the highest Relative Performance raw score since 2013 (the first year this measure was used), putting SBISD Relative Performance in the 92nd percentile among 98 comparable districts across Texas!  This is 38 points higher than the district’s lowest rank of 54th percentile in 2015, and an increase of 22 points since the 2019-2020 school year.

“These data reflect the hard work and #CollectiveGreatness of every member of the SBISD Family. Our results since 2019 reflect focus on the district’s priorities- reading and math, and supports for students. I am so proud of our students and staff. It is an honor to serve our Spring Branch ISD community,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Jennifer Blaine.
