New Students ( Students new to SBISD entering in grades K – 5)

Families new to SBISD or families who have moved within SBISD are asked to register students before the first day of school.

The following documents are required for enrollment:

·       Parent Photo ID

·       Immunization record certified by a doctor or public health official

·       Transcript or report card from the last school attended

·       Birth certificate or other document suitable as proof of a child’s identity

·       Proof of residency such as a lease agreement, mortgage payment book, district tax bill, utility bill with correct name and address.

·       Guardianship Order (If applicable)


New Student Enrollment and Registration options

All necessary registration forms may be completed online in advance of registering the student at the school.

There are two options for completing registration and enrollment  – online or in person.

Online Registration and Online Enrollment in Skyward Family Access

You will need an internet –ready browser, email address, and phone number.

Required documents can be uploaded into Family Access.

The school registrar will verify information and enroll the student. If there is anything missing or needed, the registrar will contact you.


Online Registration and In Person Enrollment

Families who complete the New Student Registration forms in Family Access but would like to bring the required documents in person must schedule an appointment with the school registrar.


In Person Registration and Enrollment

Families who would like to complete the registration forms and enroll their child in person must schedule an appointment with the school registrar.


Returning Students (Students currently enrolled at Terrace or in SBISD such as PK students who attended Tiger Trail.)

All parents of returning students in grades K -5 are asked to complete the Returning Student Verification in Skyward Family Access. All families must update these forms every year. Completing this online will minimize paper transactions and help with our safety measures.
