The Spring Branch Education Foundation (SBEF) brought some exciting news to campuses across SBISD, surprising teachers and staff with more than $300,000 in grants for the 2026–27 school year. We went along for the ride to capture their reactions. 🚸 Watch for students in crosswalks and near bus stops.
📵 Put the phone down and keep your attention on the road.
⏰ Give yourself extra time. Arrival and dismissal may take a little longer during the first few days.
👮 Follow directions from crossing guards, SBISD Police and campus staff.
Whether you’re driving, walking, biking or riding the bus, a little extra patience and attention can make a big difference.

When will my child's class appear in Rooms?
Class rosters will become available a few days before the first day of school after student information has been updated from Skyward.
Please remember that schedules and class assignments often continue to change during the first week of school. As updates are made in Skyward, your student's class roster in Rooms will automatically update. There is no action required on your part.
Downloading the app now will ensure you're ready as soon as your child's classroom becomes available.
