As students head back to school, let’s all do our part to help make the first day a safe one.
🚗 Slow down and stay alert in school zones.
🚌 Stop for school buses when lights are flashing and the stop sign is extended.
🚸 Watch for students in crosswalks and near bus stops.
📵 Put the phone down and keep your attention on the road.
⏰ Give yourself extra time. Arrival and dismissal may take a little longer during the first few days.
👮 Follow directions from crossing guards, SBISD Police and campus staff.
Whether you’re driving, walking, biking or riding the bus, a little extra patience and attention can make a big difference.

When will my child's class appear in Rooms?
Class rosters will become available a few days before the first day of school after student information has been updated from Skyward.
Please remember that schedules and class assignments often continue to change during the first week of school. As updates are made in Skyward, your student's class roster in Rooms will automatically update. There is no action required on your part.
Downloading the app now will ensure you're ready as soon as your child's classroom becomes available.

The future is taking shape at The Guthrie Center! We're excited to see the state-of-the-art Career and Technical Education (CTE) facility featured by KPRC2 as we prepare to welcome students for an incredible school year. This September, we'll celebrate the grand opening of The Guthrie Center, a milestone made possible through the 2022 Bond Program and our community's investment in the future. Terrace's Meet the Teacher is right around the corner! Please mark your calendars and join us on August 11th at 3:00 p.m. at the Terrace Transition Campus. All families will join us in the cafeteria *before* heading to classrooms. We can't wait to see our Timberwolf Friends after a long summer! Remember, the first day of school is Thursday, 8/13. We have included a helpful "QR Codes" page to get you back into the groove of school. See you soon, Wolfpack!
Important Changes to School Meals! Please note that Terrace will no longer be offering free breakfast and lunch this year to all students due to changes in Federal Funding. Your student may still qualify for a free/reduced meal plan, but action is needed! ALL FAMILIES must complete the "Free and Reduced Meal Application" on the School Cafe website (even if you don't believe you will qualify). You can log into your School Cafe account to complete the form or complete the form as a "Guest" on the website. If you prefer to fill out a paper copy, please come by Terrace to get one. While you are in your School Cafe account, it is recommended that you pre-fund your child's meal account, however this is not required. You can also fund your student's cafeteria account through cash or checks. School Cafe also will have the menus, and ways for you to customize/limit spending for your student(s). See the district's School Nutrition website below for more detailed information, and feel free to call the school if you have any questions (713-251-7200). Spring Branch ISD (SBISD) continues to set the standard for excellence in visual arts, earning recognition as a Texas Art Education Association (TAEA) District of Distinction for the sixth consecutive year. SBISD is one of only 109 school districts in Texas to receive the prestigious honor for the 2025-2026 school year. More than 1,200 eligible districts were invited to apply. #SBISDPossible
